Martha Blanchfield is a racer, writer and photographer. As editor and founder of Renegade Sailing, she profiles international waterside lifestyles. She often pokes fun at the loves and lives of sailors. Her photography and writing appear in Classic Boat (UK), Nautique (NL), the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta program, SFGate.com, Latitude 38, J/Boats newsletter, Points East, Classic Yacht and Adventure Sports Journal.
She has photographed the Pac52 Championships, Rolex Big Boat Series San Francisco, J/70 Worlds, Etchells North American Championship, Key West Race Week, Nacra, 49er, FX competition in New York, J/24 U.S. Nationals and more.
Outside of Renegade Sailing, Martha provides public relation, strategic marketing and content creation for technology firms, namely Nikon, Lexar, SanDisk, Kingston, BenQ, SmartDB, ProGrade Digital and others. She has produced content for Silicon Valley firms Zesty.ai and NextInput.

World Ocean School
World Ocean School 501(c)(3) delivers immersive, hands-on experiential education programs from aboard the classic historical boat, 1925 schooner Roseway. Their year round one-day, multi-day and voyaging programs serve grade school students who are not thriving within traditional academic settings.
The Ocean Cleanup
The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit engineering environmental organization based in the Netherlands. The organization develops technology to extract plastic pollution from the oceans, and intercept it in rivers, before it can reach the ocean.
Women's Sailing Seminar
The Annual Women’s Sailing Seminar is sponsored by Island Yacht Club, Alameda, California. Organized and taught by women for women, the series has been offering education sessions for more than 25 years.
Sailing Science Center
The San Francisco Sailing Science Center is a California, Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation 501(c)(3). It was formed with the purpose of creating an interactive science museum framed around sailing.
